Dame Vivienne Westwood has partnered with Cool Earth to help launch the charity's new Papua New Guinea rainforest project and a £1.
2m fundraising drive to expand its work to three continents. Westwood, who pledged £1m to support Cool Earth four years ago, has been announced as a patron of the organisation alongside partner Andreas Kronthaler, as it looks to tackle deforestation in Papua New Guinea. She commented 'Cool Earth is one of those rare charities that gets this done. When I discovered them five years ago they had a plan to save the rainforest and they are bang on track. Andreas and I are delighted to have become patrons of a thriving charity that works'.
